Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CareAnchor, Inc. (“CareAnchor”, “we”) handles information when you use our home care agency management platform (the “Service”).
Information we process
We process (a) account data your agency provides to set up and use the Service (names, work emails, roles); and (b) agency data you enter — including client, caregiver, scheduling, visit, billing, and payroll records. Where this includes protected health information (PHI), we process it as a Business Associate under a signed BAA.
How we use it
We use data solely to provide and operate the Service for your agency: authentication, delivering features (scheduling, EVV, billing, payroll, reporting), support, security, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal information or PHI, and we do not use PHI for advertising.
Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors that help us run the Service (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processing) under appropriate contractual and, where applicable, HIPAA obligations; and when required by law. A current subprocessor list is available on request.
Security & retention
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging (see our Security page). We retain agency data for the life of your account and delete or return it after termination per your agreement.
Your rights & contact
Your agency controls its data and can access, correct, export, or delete records through the Service or by contacting us. Questions or requests: hello@yourcareanchor.com.
